There are so many good tools out there to learn pretty much anything you want. It would be a shame to not take advantage of all the internet has to offer. But sometimes it is overwhelming and it is difficult to find the right method, app, or teacher that speaks to how you learn, and can pinpoint where you are in your music journey and point you in the right direction.

After my classical lessons, at which I was not very gifted, I really wanted to understand music, how it works, how people could just play by ear, how could someone play completely different harmonies under a simple melody.
Too bad there was no Youtube in the 90s. Back then you had to find someone better than you and ask them how they did this or that. Unlike guitarists, and drummers, I always found that pianists weren't always eager to share their tips and tricks. So I started to try and reproduce what I heard on the radio, figured out the chord system, started to play by ear, and was mesmerized by jazz.
Beyond music styles, I love harmonies that are surprising, intricate, and make such a world of difference to a melody. Since then I have always thought of myself as a student of music. I gleaned tricks, tips, runs, substitutions, systems, and theory wherever I could.

I use Zoom for my online classes. Lessons are either 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
